Meet your photographer

Get to know your dog-obsessed photographer

Hi, I’m your dog-obsessed photographer who will probably ignore your dog when we first meet. ;)

The reason for that is that I want your dog to feel comfortable around me without the pressure of a stranger immediately getting in their face. We’ll let them do their thing, take their time, and get to know each other at their own pace before starting our session.

Since you’re trusting me with capturing you and your best canine friend, I think you should get to know the human behind the camera, too.

So, here are a few things about me.

A little about me (and a lot about dogs)

I love trash TV. My husband and I met on Tinder in 2020. I just turned 40, was born and raised in Germany, and am a dual citizen. I’m a proud pittie mom, a horse lover, and a firm believer that everyone deserves a good therapist.

I’m also a passionate advocate for pit bulls and shelter dogs. Every dog deserves to be seen as an individual, to be loved for who they are, and to have people in their corner who understand them.

I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. I’m curious about the lives people live and the things that make them happy. I love supporting local businesses, grabbing a beer with my people, and asking a strangers if I can photograph their dog.

I’m a big fan of vision boards, taking action instead of overthinking everything, and remembering that “No” is a complete sentence. I’ve also become more intentional about my boundaries, the people I surround myself with, and how I spend my time.

And no, I don’t take myself too seriously. Life is serious enough already.

What I do take seriously

Creating a positive, fun, and comfortable experience for you and your dog.

Dogs are individuals where some are social butterflies who think everyone exists to be their best friend, while others need a little more time, space, or reassurance. Some have a million opinions about what's happening around them, and others would prefer to sniff every square inch of the location before acknowledging that a photo session is taking place.

My goal isn't to make your dog behave like someone else's dog but to create an experience where you both can relax, have fun, and just be yourselves. We'll work with your dog's personality while absolutely respecting their boundaries and leave room for the unexpected moments that often become our favorites.

My sessions completely revolve around your dog. For a session with me, you don’t need a perfectly trained dog, nor do I expect for your dog to sit still for an hour.

Let's make some memories

If you've ever thought about booking a photo session with your dog but weren't sure where to start, consider this your sign to reach out.

Maybe you want beautiful photos of the two of you together. Maybe you want to celebrate a new chapter, document the everyday moments, or simply have photos that remind you how much this little (or not-so-little) soul means to you. Whatever your reason, I'd love to hear about it.

Bring all your questions. Tell me about your dog, their quirks, their favorite things, anything you'd like me to know before we meet. We can talk through the details and figure out what kind of session feels right for you both.

There is ZERO pressure, ZERO judgment and these sessions are filled with good people, wonderful dogs, and a whole lot of love and fun.

I can't wait to meet you and your dog.
