Every now and then I get this question: "Do you photograph cats too?" The short answer is yes, but with a little hesitation.
Cats, as anyone who has spent time with them knows, can be a bit more unpredictable than dogs. While dogs are usually eager to please, cats prefer to follow their own rules. If your kitty spends most of the day hiding under the bed and avoiding people, a photoshoot might not be the best idea.
On the other hand, if your cat is anything like Lulu, confident, curious, and always ready to be the center of attention, then the answer is a definite HELL YEAH! Cats with big personalities who enjoy being in the spotlight make fantastic photo subjects, and I love working with them.
So yes, I do photograph cats, especially the ones who love to show off.
